2911 Limited, 2 Church Street, Burnham, Bucks, SL1 7HZ, is the data controller for information collected through 2911.co.uk. Karl Meyer handles enquiries personally, so in practice your details are read by him rather than by an admin team.

• Details you give us. Your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message when you submit an enquiry, ask about a car, or sign up to the newsletter.
• Technical information. Basic data your browser sends when you visit - such as approximate location, the pages you view, and device type - used to keep the site working and secure.

To reply to your enquiry and have a conversation about a car; to send you the newsletter if you asked for it; to keep records of a sale where we are legally required to; and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Enquiries are kept for as long as there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records relating to a completed sale are retained for the period UK tax and consumer law requires. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

The site and its enquiry records are hosted with service providers acting on our instructions, under contracts that require them to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes we set.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email sales@2911.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
